A Multispectral Single?Layer Frequency Selective Surface Absorber for Infrared and Millimeter Wave Selective Bi?Stealth

The multispectral electromagnetic (EM) absorber based on the frequency selective surface (FSS) has been applied with interest in field of stealth technology due to its ability avoid detectors or guided weapons at multiple wavelengths simultaneously. absorption performance is generally accomplished by stacking different types FSS absorbers layers. Herein, a thin and flexible single-layer (MSLF) presented using micro-holed, macroscale combined an infrared (IR) absorbing ground. FSSs are simplified MSLF changing layered microstructure transmitting microstructure. Dual-band millimeter waves (MMWs) absorbed resonance cavity, while target IR ground after penetrating micro-hole array pattern. Thermal emission reduced significantly low emissivity bands other than IR. It confirmed analytically experimentally that patterns various sizes do not exhibit functional crosstalk. demonstrated thermal make this very promising material for IR?MMW bi-stealth. Furthermore, proposed structure can be existing order increase their applicability providing additional selectivity without any interference.
